One of my old cartoons for Toons, the Cartoon Magazine from Ames, IA!
(at the time, I sign my name “H. Van Weelden” and drew in pencil).
This was inspired by “Finding Kindness,” a documentary film about the world of female bullying and two young women creating campaign to end bullying. I saw the film at my hometown’s Opera House while I was in high school, and I loved it! So, this was born out of a desire to spread the word.
The quotes even made it to the cover of the Halloween 2012 issue. Which is a plus!
