Where am I now?
If you’re actually reading this nearly 10 years after many of you followed me, hi. I guess I’m here to talk to you about life, where it’s been, and where I’m going. So when I started this blog, I was literally dying from Anorexia, and figuring out how life is going to function. My mom died, I fell apart, and then a few months later had to figure out how to start all over again as a freshmen in college. A lot has happened since then. A lot of therapy, a lot of healing, and figuring out how to live my life and function as a person again. Now, I am halfway through an MSW program, I’m a teacher, I have great friends, two darling nephews, and I’m on my way to victory. Things are still up and down, all over the place, but I am learning more and more who I am WITH my trauma, not trying to get back to who I was before it. Trauma changes you, and I’m finding my clarity and building my promising future, trauma and all. Thanks for being here.
