No, you will not be waiting another two years for the next chapter of Finding Your Wings. I'm writing on it off and on to calm my nerves.
My book comes out next month, you see!
What is this book you don't ask, well-
The author has been found to be procrastinating and is being forced to get back to work.
I haven't managed to sew a kimono yet for Kuina yet so I ordered a yukata from etsy by BJDhouse!
Because the yukata is made for the ob11 doll body, the sleeves are a bit long but I may end up replacing the body anyway as the pieces keep popping off at the slightest movement a;dlfjks
Okay, fess up, which one of you cursed me
This is the third night in a row I've dreamt about Kuina sailing the seas and this is not normal. I do not dream like this.
What if there was a FYW X-over with DCU, how would Kuina act in Gotham??
To be honest, this was a tough question! Kuina would undoubtedly be unrelentingly paranoid about being in a city that looks like it comes from a horror movie. She wouldn't be able to relax at all. And she'd also be sick because of the pollution. But I think the enjoyment of things like movie theaters and ice cream parlors would out weigh all of that! Specifically, I think she would make it a personal mission to eat at every place that serves ice cream - Poison Ivy Shakes, sign her up! It hasn't come up, but Kuina's a huge lover of ice cream!
Also, Gotham is many things but it is never boring, and Kuina wouldn't miss it even if she knows she should. Oh, and craft shops. All the craft shops would make the craziness worth it. But, uh, Gotham wouldn't quite like her because if you come at her with bad intents, she'll match you for every bit, and I can't see Batman caring for a lot of people suddenly losing their arms.
Can't shoot a gun if you're missing an arm.
And once Kuina realizes the 90% of the cops are easily bribed and she can use her would be assailants own effects to pay them off into letting her go? She'd abuse it like crazy to be left alone. And oh, do people take one look at her pink sword and out of place Japanese clothing, and go "Nope! Not messing with that!"
Cause everyone knows the out of place ones are the Arkham bound ones, but everything she does can be argued as self defense. Best not to mess with that.
So, in essence, she'd probably be added to Batman's Rogue Gallery while all she wants to do is eat ice cream and make crafts.
In Finding Your Wings, do you prefer to keep as close to canon as possible, or would you be okay with ignoring canon?

The story is set in stone. I'm just curious if anyone cares if the story does not follow the manga 100%
It makes a difference on release time, honestly.
