I am sorry to have put my foot in it-- the topic's been part of school as well as other activities, and conversations there have been frustratingly 'prove the value of this concept'. I only just got finished with it, so I'm pretty burnout, and i got excited enough to see like, Actually useful and reasonable responses/concerns to issues with mutual aid, that I didn't slow down enough to actually read the room, not just the words. My bad.
No worries-- on a reread, it certainly wasn't undeserved.
