A Loner I'm not a fucking skeptic and I don't believe in luck. I'm a hopeless romantic. But I sure as hell don't believe in love. Not the kind of love you find in fairytales anyway. I've always known that true love has more to do with endurance then fantasy! I've always KNOWN I was destined to be alone, truthfully I always thought it meant I was bound to be lonely. I always ran away from that feeling; convincing myself that if I push it as far away as I could with both hands- that it would be easier to settle than to understand how to be on my own. Feeling betrayed and completely abandoned before I was even old enough to go to school is the foundation for the conditioning of mental and emotional instability. And I have fought way too hard to be happy to let you stop me! Tonight, the Earth blocks the Sun from the Moon so we go without a moonbeam but it doesn't stop us from using the Stars as a guide. Tonight I'm going to paint your name on a rock and throw it far away from me. I'm going to watch as soda cans and other things that I find lying around stumble their way down to the bottom of my mountain; So they can be carried away by the river... taking their weight of negativity with them. Never bothering me again. Never renting space in my head or draining my precious energy. I'll watch them as they go away. I'll feel happy they're gone. Tonight I'm Letting Go.
