White tears have been an act of aggression because of the awareness of how society views and instinctively responds.

In contrast the feelings of black men and women are often overlooked. We’re expected to be strong but not “aggressive”, outspoken but not too “loud” and ready to grow up from birth.

Remarkably and without fail, we remain a dynamic people. Educated and unbothered by these weaponized tears, we continue to bloom.
