Musings from my #Autumn play day in #LinvilleFalls, NC We made it just as the last golden yellow, tawny red and rust orange colored leaves held on seemingly for dear life. As the Autumn breeze taunted them and gravity called them to there next life as compost. Many leaves had already fallen to the ground and a few trees were already barren. It reminded me of just how quickly seasons change. The importance to play in each one. Of how beautifully each season begins and ends. Everything is seasonal, temporary, forever changing. There is a gift in this promise. Your perspective makes those changes for the better or not. There is beauty and discomfort to be felt in each season. The cold of Winter gives way to the magnificent glow of snow covered Earth. Spring blossoms with life and flowers as well as rain. Summer days are wonderfully long and filled with sunshine and often skin burning heat and suffocating humidity too. Autumn breezes in with lovely earth tones and as quickly as the leaves turn, they fall to the earth leaving trees barren. And the beautiful cycle continues. It's all love and all divine and all beautiful. In the midst of and on the other side of uncomfortable growing pains there is beauty and peace if you'll embrace it. Truly feel each and every sensation that makes that season unique.
