Today I weighted myself and I have to say I am really happy that I have lost five pounds. It seems so simple but just last year I was killing myself to lose five to ten pounds. I would get up early go for a run, do some pilates and go to class with nothing in my belly but a cup of tea. Afterwards I would hit the gym and lunch was always a toss up, sometimes just healthy snacks and other times nothing. By dinner I was starving but would feel guilty for eating because I haven’t lost that weight yet. Just five to ten pounds. I am heavier now, but those five pounds came off easy compared to before. I feel happy now, and while I still feel guilt when I eat, it is not every single thing that I put in my mouth that makes me feel guilty.
