Lilli Waters’ solo exhibition ANTHROPOCENE continues this week. Live in our virtual exhibition space! Link in profile || Repost @lilliwaters ・・・ Working alone with natural light in the environment and a nude model can at times be overwhelming. The beauty of nature comes with its unpredictability, and so too, its tourists. It is also in, and because of these moments of frustration, battling high winds, sinking mud, attempting to hide from the views of visitors, 45 degree heat bouncing off a white salt lake, followed by flash flooding and incessant rain and all that goes wrong, that I feel a deep appreciation for this very moment, the power of nature and the insignificance of humanity, but also the joy of feeling alive and awake. This work has meant that I have been witness to, and immersed in, such beautiful Australian landscapes, at times stark and eerie, lush and dense; these moments have been some of the most breathtaking and magical experiences of my life. Nature is my creative playground and where I feel most at home. . ‘What Will Become of Us’ 100 x 150cm Pigment print Edition of 8 + 1AP From my new virtual exhibition ‘Anthropocene: The Age of Humans’ 2020 @curatorialandco Link to virtual exhibition in profile . . . #fineartphotpgraphy #photographyexhibition #interiordesign #femaleform #womaninlandscape #lilliwaters #thefall #australianlandscape #artgallery #virtualexhibition https://www.instagram.com/p/CBRQxdiDmwM/?igshid=1d9p85hjp5t2j
