I shot #Ruger firearms clear back in Boy Scouts. They were always my sidearms when backpacking solo in the mountains, working on ranches, or traveling alone through the desert regions on remote photo shoots. As a photographer who has worked with both modern and vintage glass in antique lenses, I can easily distinguish lens artifacts. I wish a lot of you weren't so gullible who think lens flare, bokeh, aspherical artifacts were supernatural orbs!? I have to debunk and point this out on the daily when people post so many different "orb" photos! It makes me lose hope in Humanity and think we are on a downward slope to a pure idiocracy! My heart is always at the @elcortezlv in #LasVegas. It's an enduring tradition now that has spanned two decades in my photography work. I was photographing it before Instagram existed. The desert sings to me. It's full of nobler and more worthy beings than me. The White Winged Doves and Saguaro are examples pure innocence portraying the sanctity of Life and the sacredness of this land. I was brought into this reality to learn from others and observe them; non just humans but non-humans. Much higher forms of intelligence exist amongst these Sacred Beings aka plants and animals and all of them belong as members to an intergalactic Holy Web that the rest of Humanity is also plugged into. . I learn from the mistakes of others. I learn what what NOT to do! This reality is not always a simple but when I wake up at 4:30 AM in the morning to start my day and walk out into the parking lot to see the dozens upon dozens of mourning doves foraging for food long before the sun comes up; they teach me of their beauty, intelligence, tenacity and hard work. They have a desire to survive and stay alive and thrive and keep their babies alive and flock together and warn each other of any potential threat, etc, but they work diligently hard every single day without let up. . I strive to be more like these entities but us humans can be the filthiest of these creatures and sometimes the most foolish too. I'm fully aware of my own shortcomings but this is why I strive to learn from these nobler humbler beings from the animal nations... . I have flashbacks and memories of another world, another star system, somewhere I was before this life, closer to far away. It seems, I'm a nonhuman enduring a human experience and it pains me terribly how cruel the greed is of these other humans and what they do to all the nonhuman nations that have to share the same Earth with all these other intelligences.
