The Olgas Vases. Kata Tjuta, also known as the Olgas, is an ancient rock formation in Australia’s red centre. The 36 domes that make up the Kata Tjuta are spread over an area of more than 20 Km. The highest point is Mount Olga named in honour of Queen Olga of Wurttemberg. Kata Tjuta is sacred to the Ananga people, who have inhabited the area for more than 22,000 years. The sandstone domes of Kata Tjuta are believed to be around 500 million years old! #theolgas #fineglassart #startacollection #fineartgallery #uniquegift #thebestofthebest #thefamousoldhousegalleryoflongmelford (at Melford's Famous Old House Gallery)
