I really like Maya pushing Riley to run initially and then standing by her in the face of the other competition. She calls out Riley for her campaigning but is never overtly negative towards her and never discourages her from continuing.

Despite going after Lucas, she takes equal pleasure in seeing his reaction to the video showing that with Riley, she isn’t just the “bad influence“ needing Riley to balance her out but that she‘s willing to counter herself and her own actions so long as Riley approves of it. Riley, for her part, lets Maya do her own thing but is quick to help Maya get hold of Lucas’ friends for the video, giving up her own desires to help a friend out instead.
