Maintaining and caring for your shoes will ensure you’re protecting your investment. It also keeps them and you looking great.⁣ ⁣ This pair of Edward Green Cardiff in Mahogany Country Calf is one of my go to winter shoe. It stands up to the toughest elements. As I sorted shoes for the season I noticed I neglected this pair the end of last winter. You can see in the first photo the leather is dry and the color faded. ⁣ ⁣ What I did:⁣ 1. I first applied Boot Black Two Face Lotion to clean the leather. This removed a good amount of dirt and some color. I repeated this twice, and let dry. ⁣ ⁣ 2. Next I applied Saphir Renovatuer rather liberally. This was immediately absorb into the leather providing nourishment. I repeated this step twice. ⁣ ⁣ 3. I began polishing with Saphir Mahogany 09 Creme. Applying a couple times and brushing in between. I wanted more depth of color so I then applied a light coat Saphir Havane 34 to darken and enhance the color, and brushing after. ⁣ ⁣ The shoes are now well nourished and polished and ready to wear. ⁣ ⁣ I hope you find this helpful and inspires you take care of your shoes.
