Maintaining and caring for your shoes will ensure you’re protecting your investment. It also keeps them and you looking great. This pair of Edward Green Cardiff in Mahogany Country Calf is one of my go to winter shoe. It stands up to the toughest elements. As I sorted shoes for the season I noticed I neglected this pair the end of last winter. You can see in the first photo the leather is dry and the color faded. What I did: 1. I first applied Boot Black Two Face Lotion to clean the leather. This removed a good amount of dirt and some color. I repeated this twice, and let dry. 2. Next I applied Saphir Renovatuer rather liberally. This was immediately absorb into the leather providing nourishment. I repeated this step twice. 3. I began polishing with Saphir Mahogany 09 Creme. Applying a couple times and brushing in between. I wanted more depth of color so I then applied a light coat Saphir Havane 34 to darken and enhance the color, and brushing after. The shoes are now well nourished and polished and ready to wear. I hope you find this helpful and inspires you take care of your shoes. The results will be well worth it. #shoepolish,#shoeshine, #shoecare #highgloss, #fingerpolish, #edwardgrren, #cardiff, #countrycalf, #renovateur #BootBlack, #twofacelotion #inthedetails, #saphir, #medailledor1925, #shineyourshoes #shoelove, #leffot (at Leffot) https://www.instagram.com/p/CFzxXCBBPHd/?igshid=1xazpb16ftwh8
