NABR bring out their version of the CPI for repair shops to help businesses stay on top of the CODB. I-CAR continues to provide cutting edge education for the repair industry. Good customer service pays dividends, as the LoBalbo twins have found. Service King celebrate 40 years of business by simultaneously giving away 15 cars in NABC’s Recycled Rides Program. Honda are well and truly on target to achieve their goal of having 1,200 certified repair shops in their ProFirst network. Reduce insurance premiums by almost half? Really! That’s the forecast for self-driving vehicles. The date and venue for the 2017 ABPA AGM and conference has been announced.
Just Like The CPI Only For Repair Shops
The new NABR Collision Economic Index (CEI) and calculator should prove to be a useful tool for collision repair businesses interested keeping track of the price history of consumables and general business expenses. The tool will allow businesses to then adjust their charges accordingly to ensure they maintain a profit margin.
Flexibility The Key These Days
The collision repair landscape is changing at an alarming rate and businesses that want to stay at the top of their game are increasingly needing to adopt a flexible attitude in order to adapt to these changes quickly and efficiently. I-CAR is in the business of helping them do this.
For Stamford twins Al and Sal LoBalbo who recently expanded their current premises but found it still wasn’t enough to cater for the increasing number of cars coming through their doors. So they’re now looking to expand even more with the purchase of more land across the road from their workshop. It’s all down to good customer service, the brothers explain.
Service King Collision Repair Centers celebrated their 40th anniversary in style. Not by partying as you would perhaps expect but by creating a record for donated vehicles in the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides program. Service King simultaneously gave away cars in 15 cities to mark the event and also brought their total of donations for this year to more than 40 vehicles.
Honda’s ProFirst Network Filling Up
Honda is aiming to have 1200 repairers in their certified repair program by 2018 and they’re more than half way there. The network now has 700 certified repair shops across the country and some areas already have enough certified shops. It also seems that education is one of the biggest stumbling blocks to gaining certification, which is a reflection on the industry in general.
Motor Vehicle Insurance Premiums And Self-Driving Vehicles
How to insure them and the implications of legal liability are questions that have been at the forefront of the self driving cars debate. But experts now say that they could eventually drop the cost of insurance premiums by almost half, which is great news for the motoring public. However, it isn’t likely to happen for quite a few years yet.
