The morning Fitz and The Fool leave the market square, something goes terribly wrong in the Skill Pillar. They stumble out of it not back on Aslevjal, but in a Rainwild city, and must take the long way home.

A Fool's Fate fix it focusing on Beloved's recovery and Fitz learning he can love in many, many ways.

Now updating first of the month (give or take) (sorry to change the schedule again but this is way more reasonable for me right now haha)

I was tagged by @tragediegh to do a little WIP Wednesday and it is not Wednesday but either way here is a little peak at something I've written for FINKAK :)

It was like a damn had broken. My tears flowed freely, and I buried my face in his shoulder. He held me, saying nothing for a short time. All of my fear, my anxiety, my self-loathing for the awful things I had said to him, it spilled out of me, as if my tears could be a true conduit for emotion. I had felt so much, since he had kissed me in front of Girl-on-a-Dragon, sixteen years worth of pain and loss boiled down into a few months, and sixteen years worth of love and joy, just as strongly. I sobbed for the grief of the lost time, the loss of time with Nettle and Dutiful, the loss of care I’d had, even when with Hap. The time I could have spent with Amber in Bingtown, or with Lord Golden in Buckkeep.  Eventually, when I thought I could cry no more and found my gasping sobs dissolving into quiet, shuddering sighs, I found Beloved’s hand in my hair, gently trying to bring me back to myself. “Breathe, Fitz. That’s it. Just breathe. You’re doing so well. Come, sit. There you are, love.”
