1. Who was the first friend you made on tumblr?

2. Do you know anyone IRL that you also talk to on tumblr? Any family members?

Yes, my husband in on tumblr at jauntymo, my sister-in-law runs a great blog at finkled, and my brother has an awesome art blog at finkleart.

3. What was your first fandom, and do you still consider yourself a part of it?

I’m not sure if it counts as a fandom, but I was positively obsessed with The Westing Game as a kid, and I still re-read it fairly frequently.  So, yeah, I’m still part of it.

4. If you area a part of the BBC Sherlock fandom and would have an opinion on this: Which BBC-S character would you choose to go on vacation with?  Where would you go and why?

This is a tough one!  I think Lestrade.  He passes my “seems like it would be fun to get a drink with” test.  And I much as I love Sherlock and John, I think Sherlock would be crappy vacation company (“BORED!”)  and John would be too distracted by whatever was going on with Sherlock back home in London.  So, I vote Lestrade for vacation buddy.

5. Do you OTP?  Your top three and why did you start shipping them?

I do.  I really do.  Top three:

johnlock (Sherlock) - I have loved Sherlock Holmes novels since I was a kid and have been long been fascinated by the idea that ACD tried to drop clues about John and Sherlock’s homosexuality in very repressive times.  Then, I saw the BBC-S version and there is just freakin’ fantastic chemistry there and I can’t ship it hard enough.

captainswan (OUAT) - For me, this is 100% chemistry.  From their first scene together I thought Hook and Emma were just electric.

briff (Community) - I have always liked Jeff and Britta together.  I like how they antagonize each other, but at the same time can be very careful of each other’s feelings.

6. If you were responsible for keeping Sherlock entertained for one day in your home town/state/province/district/whatever, where would you take him?

I’d take him to Healing Srpings, SC, which according to local legend has a spring with magical healing waters.  I think he might like to do tests on it and debunk the “magic.”

Then we’d go to Summerville, SC which is home to a ghost light that mysteriously damages electronics.  I think he can solve that one, too.

We’d finish up our day by going to Greenville, SC to wander around and let Sherlock deduce people, and then get dinner.

Co-writing, definitely.  Partly because of my ridiculous shyness/stage-fright, but more because I’d like to have an impact on the cannon.

9. Fancast your favorite book/comic that has not yet been turned into a film!

I would love to see The Westing Game or The Phantom Tollbooth made into (good) movies.  I don’t think I can cast them, though.

10.  In light of Graham Norton’s continued use of fanworks in his interviews, how do you feel about the fourth wall?

I like a wink to the audience, but in general I tend to want the fourth wall to be relatively unbreached.

11. Oh no, the zombie apocalypse has begun!  Who are the top three fictional characters you want on your zombie-survival squad and why?

John Watson, Army Doctor, for military tactics, weaponry, doctoring, and general badassery (Sherlock)

Martha Jones, again for the doctoring, as well as for general problem-solving abilities and fearlessness (Dr. Who)

Mr. Gold, for magic and darkness I’d want on my side (OUAT)
