Bobbi had just gotten off work, and the decision to visit the bookstore had both been an impulsive one and a predictable one. She had no need to buy a new book this week, as she had already bought two and hadn’t finished them. But it had been a long and tiring day, and she deserved a small treat, dammit. Especially after having to listen to the same chime over and over and over-
They’d been so busy... And her feet hurt, though that was something she could ignore. She wanted to look for something new. She mainly read fantasy and romance, but romance was a hard pass for her at the moment. And so far, none of the books in the sci-fi and fantasy section really stood out to her at the moment. She turned into a different section only to find the space was currently occupied by a familiar face.
“I swear, every time I come here, you’re stalking the history books,” she quipped, the only announcement of her presence as she casually approached Finn. “Or are you just stalking me? It’s hard to tell at this point.”
Mildly curious, she craned her neck to peek at the book he currently held in his hand. “Mmhmm. As I expected. Still a nerd.”
