17. what’s your BROTP when it comes to your muse? Canonically, speaking, I love all the Ben/Culper interactions and have strong affection for muses who’ve been friends since childhood. For a long while, Ben and Caleb was my favorite brotp ever until the fandom completely ruined it for me. With fanon/non-canonical, our dynamic is definitely a top contender! :’ ) Maybe it’s cuz I’m getting up there in the years, but the older I get, the more fond I am of the found family trope. And our muses check all the boxes of familial feels, angst, betrayal, and all that fun stuffTM. GIMME MORE OF THAT SWEET, SWEET AGONY lol.

30. is there any “unconventional” relationship you play, or you would like to? I don’t really know how to answer this, cuz I feel like all my ships are unconventional just because they’re not popular LOL. I will say though, that this is the first fandom I’ve been a part of where I don’t have many crossover ships. I used to have a TON of those, and they were almost always my favorites. It was really fun to mesh/blend worlds and prove that these characters from entirely different universes could be plausible together. For whatever reason, my most popular ship here tends to be Ben/OC. I don’t mind or dislike that, obviously, but I find it interesting! I think it’s mostly because of the lack of Ben/female character interaction on the show (which makes sense since w.ar is mostly fought by men), so ppl felt they had to get creative/create their own character to get the kind of dynamics they wanted.

Right now, she had taken out her binoculars and was pinpointing a few key positions she could snipe from depending on the information they gained. Well the information she had gained but hadn’t told Declan about - she did not trust him that much.

Connor watched as the man before him crumbled; a familiar scene, almost looking at a reflection of himself of that fateful night. Though, it would be an insult to even call it a ‘reflection’. Declan’s grief was a direct result of the lives Connor took. Once upon a time, he thought he knew what it meant to take a life. He thought that if it was for the right cause, to ensure the freedom he fought for all people living here, then these deaths might be justified. But as he grew older, sought beyond the naïvety of his youth, he realized that to be far from the truth. That the cost of a life, and the way of this WORLD, was not as black and white as he initially thought. That was one of his deepest regrets; learning too late.

Yet, here they stand now--Assassin and Templar--in an attempt to make amends and move forward, together. 

Connor had no idea how to console Declan. What could he possibly say that would help? Words, conveying his deepest emotions--that was something he never quite mastered. Dark brows knitted as he pursed his lips. What would Emily do? he asked himself, somewhat surprised that he even thought of her at a time like this. But is that really surprising, given that she and Declan are close friends? Admittedly, there is some envy there, but that is an extra layer to unfold at another time. His eyes gazed to the side--the bar. An idea pops into his mind.

He left momentarily, making his way across the tavern to order a couple tankards. When he returned, he placed the drinks down at a nearby empty table. There was hesitance, and a bit of awkwardness, but he valiantly placed a gentle hand on the Templar’s shoulder.

“I know it is not much, but,” Connor paused, moving aside for Declan to see the drinks that await them. “Perhaps we could start here.”

@finnegansson​ He’s standing there amidst the tavern brawl; broken glass, bodies, bloodied hands balled into fists, staring the hooded woman right in the eye and screams: “Ye’ve had yer chance for fair play, Miss Jensen, now COME AT ME!!!” (For Hope 😲!!!)

He demands ‘fair play’- when he and his scour the very world from its freedoms. With underhanded manipulations and deceptions; don’t worry, we’ll care for you - before discarding their charges when they were no longer useful. Healthy. Able.

     Chains the world, and calls it ‘mercy’.

             Pretends that 'fair play’ is discarded, instead of being never-there.

She has attempted to give him the benefit of being young and gullible- his heart has always been in the correct place, yet his mind has ever twisted. By those he calls brothers, and those that would so easily be rid of him when he no longer had anything that they could TAKE.

She knows the Colonel for what he is.

Knows the Game for how it should be played.

“How many times have I told you, Finnegan, that this path was not for you!” Hope is aching, several blows unescapable and throbbing as if to say, ‘we’re here for you’. Bruises blossoming beneath silk, leather, and lace. “You imagine being attacked so far? You imagine being targeted?”

These aren’t her men. These aren’t civilians. They too will drown within the very air they’ll breathe, as she drops a gas grenade and vaults up- the roof her greatest bet at escape. 

          Or bait.

TWIN! My twin, my twin. I’m so happy we met. First of all, I adore the way you interpret your characters, the headcanons! Declan! Declan is a treasure okay? Personally, I (John André) will protecc him at all costs Also, HAYTHAM! I would have never expected Pearl to be with Haytham in a million years, but I am absolutely living for it. We also agree so much when it comes to Haytham! I cannot wait to see where our writing goes next. Also … def need to explore more with Thatch and Elizabeth.

Oh HIIIIII there ! I love how much work you put into your characters! ALL of your characters! Whether it is Abagail or Theo, I love our interactions and I cannot wait to interact more!  In your writing, I enjoy reading your dialogue across threads. You do very well in interpreting your dialogue among your different characters. While I enjoy our current threads, I cannot wait to see where our characters take us next!
