congratulations! you’re the only one who doesn’t die. unfortunately, you’ll never be the same after what you’ve experienced and will most likely spend the rest of your days paranoid that every shadow you see is more than just a shadow— you survived, but you’ll never truly escape. even worse, since you're the only survivor, you have no one else to confide in about your mental trauma.
