Its easy to forget

This world is very complicated so its quite easy to get lost. We’re constantly bombarded with images, sounds, ideas & notions that its increasingly easy to forget who you really are.

This world often relies on you not holding on to your greatness. It wants you to go with its flow,to speak in its terms, to visualise through its gaze. If you do not, anonymity is your payment. If you do not, ridicule & being misunderstood is your reward.

Thankfully, some of us believe its important to resist at all costs, to persist at all costs & exist at all cost. I am one of those people who sometimes gets swept away with the tide, but I always find my way back to being me again. I will find my way back to me because being myself is my purpose. Celebrating our beauty, our verve, our unique points of view is my purpose. I’m not here to hate or be trampled on or to be forgotten because I choose to be honest with myself. So getting lost or forgetting who I am is part of my growth. I found my rhythm & you will too...❁
