"Wait, that's not—" Finn started, but Kylo cut him off: "You two were meant to be; it was obvious when I first saw you together. You're going to be the best couple." He turned and started to shuffle off, looking utterly pathetic.

"No, we're not," Rey said, stepping in front of Kylo before he could get more than two steps away. She reached up to pull his shock-filled face down closer to her own, and then she informed him, "We are going to be the best triad."

Finn, Rey and Ben should have been the main focus of the Sequel Trilogy. A Stormtrooper who defects, awakens and becomes a Jedi trained by Luke. Rey a scavenger who is also awakened, but has light and dark within her but chooses light. Kylo Ren/Ben Solo, the son of Han and Leia, who chose the dark side. Eventually would have a redemption arc and the three would be revealed as the trinity in the force. Rey is the light, Ben is the dark and Finn is the balance. Together they come together and destroy Palpatine once and for all and bring balance to the force.
