Just saw Pentatonix in concert and they are SO Glee-coded to me so here is my very well thought out Glee as Pentatonix line-up/AU/hc with no consistent criteria for my choices :P

Kirstin Maldonado (mezzo soprano)

—> Tina Cohen Chang

I know Rachel might’ve been the expected choice for this one, but I think Tina’s voice range/timbre better matches Kirstin’s and I just think this choice is more fun. Tina's more straightforward attitude and dedication to the team matches Kirstin better. I also feel like Tina would love being the only girl in the group. She'd devour the attention and would use the 'only girl' card to get as many solos as possible. And you know she’d be flirting with all of her bandmates, even though she’s knows most of her them are gay. She’d be creating so much drama backstage and frankly I’d be living for it.

Mitch Grassi (tenor)

—> Kurt Hummel

This one speaks for itself.

Scott Hoying (baritone)

—> Blaine Anderson

Blaine’s not a baritone, but idc this one is based purely on the very similar vibes Scott and Blaine have going on. They're both great leaders! Watching Scott onstage he reminds me so much of Blaine, from the frontman charm to the constant boy band spin. Blaine would love interacting with the audience/hyping them up between songs like Scott does. And we all know Blaine’s our king of a cappella so it only makes sense that he would be the one to bring everyone together to form the group.

Kevin Olusola (beatboxer)

—> Sam Evans

With a mouth like that, imagine that sounds he could make. Need I say more?

Matt Sallee (bassist)

—> Finn Hudson

This one was the hardest to choose as I don’t think anyone in Glee has quite this low a voice, but I feel like Finn’s the closest. Matt is also a super fun and silly performer that I could see Finn being similar onstage. Also I like to think Finn and Tina would have the dramatic slow-burn backstage romance for the ages (once she’s given up on romancing Blaine ofc)

Would love to know what characters other gleeks would stack their Pentatonix line-up with. Also now I’m kind of dying for a fanfic of this 😅 anyway thanks for coming to my TedTalk
