          ❝         they ,  uh                    they got bigger  .         ❞       it’s really artie’s first time visiting the swamp after months of promising and exchanging letters and , well . it’s ... smaller than what he expects . although , really , he  ...  doesn’t know what he’s been expecting at all if he’s being honest . but it’s small . cozy . it smells too , a little , but he supposes that’s a given with shrek . the baby in his arm is bounced gently on his knee , and artie fumbles a smile at the little guy , glad when the small shrek-copycat smiles back . that’s nice , he thinks . it’s good to know babies , at least , don’t hate him .  or judge him .  memories of his time since he’s picked up the crown rushes through him, but artie’s quick to swallow them down. no good. no good. he’s here to relax and wind down. and bond. with a family. even though he’s never done that before considering nobody ever — wants him around. but. yeah. focus, artie, you can do it.

some  flowers  for  @fionahs.  while i haven’t written with them yet, they’re so kind and loving to everyone. they try to  include everyone and is just so welcoming. i felt comfortable around them almost immediately. but while theyre kind, they also know how to stand their ground and speak when they need to. i just find them so admirable and i hope they stay around for a long long time.
