      spot ain’t sure what s’ it with higgins ‘dat he’s somehow found himself attached ta’ him.     professionally,   he means.     he’s pretty sure ‘da first impression he’s got o’ ‘da man ain’t all that flatterin’   :   race was like jack in a way,   oozin’ charm and smooth with words,   and those are the kind of guys spot ain’t always comfortable with,   y’see.    but somehow they’se worked.    race ain’t ever complaint about spot’s camerawork,   not even once,   since they were on ‘dat project a long time ago,   and even if he’s got somethin’ ta’ say ‘bout it,   his suggestions ain’t at all dumb or “experimental” in ‘da way ‘dat always pisses spot off.   ever since,   he finds himself agreein’ ta’ any project race s’ in without as much as a second of doubt.   though race bargin’ in when shooting s’ over could be worked on,   though.   still,   spot lets him come in.   presents the footages ‘dat he’s already uploaded on ‘da laptop.      ‘     —   go home ta’ your room afta’.    ’     /    from spot for @racetracktm !

      mj approaches slowly , not finding the scenery or the situation odd nor unfamiliar . how many times has she been to the cemetery to bring peter home ? how many times have aunt may called just to say “he’s there again” ? and how many times have ned and her talked about whose turn is it to coax the guy to be away from his regret and a life he could’ve had that’s been buried six feet under ? too many , that’s how . but mj never relents . never complaints . no even once . she doesn’t think she can . being spiderman , being peter parker — a boy with his heart so full for the world and yet so many tragedies upon his life ... the least mj can do is stand by his side , make sure queens’ own avenger stays alive .

        even if mj couldn’t remember the last time peter picks up his mask after gwen’s gone . and she’s been gone for months .     ❝     hey , loser .     ❞     she announces , despite knowing that peter has already spotted her from far away , and sighs . yes , mj is never tire of this sight . she can be may’s beck-and-call every time whenever the old woman needs help summoning peter home , but — that doesn’t mean mj likes what she sees . she doesn’t want peter to be sad ‘till he rots away , but... it doesn’t seem peter’s planning to do anything else . she directs her attention to the grave , coming closer to fix the flowers that must’ve been left by either peter or the stacys :     ❝    'sup , gwen . you been keeping him busy ? c’mon that ain’t too nice . ned’s been missing his boyfriend . they were gonna build more legos .     ❞

        and to think months ago , mj has the galls to be jealous of the blonde girl . if she’d known it would be this way ... — no. mj can’t think like that . nobody had known . and peter had tried . she knew this . she’s always known this .     ❝     hey , i’m gonna , uh . i’m gonna have to take him home now , okay ? he needs to eat . been gettin’ a lil skinny lately , i’ve been mistaking him with a shrimp . so — see you around , stace .     ❞     and mj gets back up to her feet again , finally faces peter . and on her face isn’t exactly a smile , but it isn’t a glare or a grimace either . it’s a face filled with a promise : that mj will probably always be there , no matter how pathetic or sad that is , because she’s signed up for this the moment they let her in on the spiderman secret — and it’s not in her nature to just back off .    ❝     let’s go home , peter .     ❞
