He shouldnt be running, but he had run out of options.
Jude had never heard of a spyrix weapon that was both incredibly accurate, fast firing and contained magical damage. He was lucky that last shot only grazed his shoulder since it literally burned the clothing right off. The minor burn was something he could easily heal when he got a moments peace.
Exodus really couldnt give him a second to rest, and just when he thought things had calmed down they would come out of the cracks and make themselves known once more. Guess that’s what happens when you’re on Exodus’ wanted list... They didnt even care about Milla anymore and the target flipped to him instead, though he was to blame for the Schism breaking and the increase in Spyrite Research... Being a Rieze Maxian also didnt help matters much.
The spirits must have been looking out for him today since he had managed to find some cover-- there was that moments peace he had been dying for, so he got straight on to healing his shoulder. But even with his spirit artes, he was at a huge disadvantage against ranged weapons. There was only three of them and yet so long as that prototype was out there, he was pushing his luck.
Escape really was the only option...
Looking down he wondered if he should take this chance to escape using the dagger to cross worlds, but that wouldnt eliminate the problem of them coming back to try again.
What should he do..?
