I currently don’t have much time to be self-indulgend, so this painting is one of the things I’ve been up to last month. It’s a commission that definitely pushed me to my limits, maybe even past, but in turn also taught me much (for example that I still have a lot to learn). I really want to paint more stuff with elaborated nature backgrounds.
A long while ago i posted this Lava Boar Illustation that i did for a school project. My other initial element idea was fire, and i had sketched both out, but ended up choosing lava at the moment because it inspired me more.
I always kept the sketch of the other one because i also really like it, and now that i have time, i decided to finish it ! Ill maybe try to see if i can make shirts (and more ???) of those (both the fire and the lava boar) since i got a request for it once !
