When I saw the scene where Weiss sends the lil fireballs to light the candles I didn’t think much of it because we’ve seen her do stuff like that at least once before. In the Lancer fight, she fired 3 fireballs that arced up to hit some of the floating islands to create a small avalanche. This implies some degree of control over the trajectory of the fireballs.
So while the “lighting all the candles” scene isn’t something entirely new, it does raise some questions as to how fine a person’s control of Dust can be.

Ancestor by Brandi Blue Some of the fires at Burning Man are so big that they create what look like tornadoes of smoke and fire and dust. These are called Ancestors.

Fire Witch: “Fire Dust” Protection Spell
Main ingredients to create your own personal “Fire Dust” here. The following spells do not need to be accurately planned or done. Replace any of the ingredients to benefit you. Remember to take deep breaths to allow your energy flow smoothly during the ritual.
Ingredients:
-Moon (Light Source)
-Cinnamon
-Rosemary (Dried)
-Rose Thorns (Dried)
-Salt
-Black/Red Candle
-Dragon’s Blood Incense
Ritual:
Combine your ingredients and crush them in a bowl.
Go under the moon or light source.
Sit on the ground, straight up, and light candle in front of you.
Light your incense and bless your mixture with the smoke. Keep incense nearby.
Take a pinch and sprinkle it over your flame.
Close your eyes and envision your inner flame glowing.
You may look into the flame to assist you. Use it’s warmth.
Take deep breaths and feel yourself grow.
You are a flaming star, nothing can harm you.
Let the incense burn itself out. (Turn off when you’re finished.)
Bottle remaining dust in bottle or container for future uses.
*Essential Oil: Mix preferred oil with the dust. Place a little on your forehead to protect you through out the day.
