Code Fire to 1 day off a week
It has truly been a crazy time lately. First off about less then a week ago, I was in the middle of setting up a clearance endcap at work when my co worker/ friend Kyla comes over to me. She tells me, my trailer park is on fire. I live right across from the street of my job. She said she has seen black smoke. Me and her quickly rush to the front of the store where I too see the black smoke. Freaking out, I call to my manager on the walkie while I run to my locker to grab my stuff. I notice the stares from my other co workers as I rush out but my mind was on my sister and my animals were home. I ran as long as I could sadly not the whole way home due to my weight. My mind was in complete panic. Fire trucks and emergency vehicles rush past me while I wait to cross the street. But I thank the gods as I come closer to my street. Nothing was on fire. I rush inside to check on my sister. All was fine and calm. I told her what happened, still completely freaked out. Once calming down, I go to see if I can find the cause of it to see if my family was still endanger. I go down the street and turned the corner. This is what I was greeted with-
I spotted my landlord who owners a storage lot right next to the trailer park so I go over to ask him what was going on. He said he saw a person going over there with something. Not long later is when he & his worker spotted the spot and its when he called. I told him my friend saw the smoke and was when I rushed home. Luckily it was contained to that single trailer. We were luckily because a lot of the trailers are very close together. I thank the gods for that day. I never want to have that sense of panic ever again. I ended up going back to work due to hours being cut. Been working every day expect for one day off. Been pulling doubles so I could make the hours. Besides the fire scare, nothing much interesting has happened. Been working on cleaning my house while moving stuff around. Though I am very proud of myself, my kitchen has stayed cleaned most of the time. My sister is upset because of not helping. I told her not to worry about it. Besides dealing with the severe pain of her teeth, her job isn’t easy on her anxiety. Current project is cleaning out well detoxing my room. ^-^ I did see something interesting on my way to work, I come out of the side of my trailer park to the parking lot behind AT&T and saw this-
I was like 0.o Um, okay. How does one not notice that missing off of your car? People amaze me. I’m trying to help my friend get into a trailer not far from mine. She wants to move out of her currently living situation. The girl she is renting from has....issues... a lot of them from what I hear. Fingers crossed, it would be fun to have her living close. We shall see.
