#fire trap

Took a photo of this boarding house for single men only last week. Yesterday, it was destroyed in a deliberately lit fire. Police say fuel was doused around the place and set ablaze - three men died in the inferno, and an 80 year old was blown out of a top floor window onto the street below and is in a critical condition in hospital. So sad. Five men escaped. A 45 year old man has now been charged with murder. Locals say the building was in very bad shape, conditions were squalid, it was an obvious fire trap, and yet the authorities did nothing. Newtown.

Rovar's Trap (trap idea)

Here's one for you Dm's that want a very clever & very deadly trap.

The players have to go up a long spiral stair case to get up to the next area. As they enter the room that has the stairs, they will notice a weird red liquid has pooled down at the bottom of the stairs. If they decided that they will go up the stairs to head into the next room, about half way threw they will hear someone strike a torch. After that they will see a touch fall down the middle of the spiral stair case & hit the liquid bellow. The liquid will ignite & start to quickly make it's way up the stairs. 

The players will most likely try to beat it to the top of the stairs, & if they do this they will hear something get pushed down the stairs. If they look to see what it is, they will find a bunch of barrels full of gunpowder that have spikes astride upon it, have been pushed down. The players at that point have to figure out a way to both escape the fire, dodge/stop the barrels & to make sure that the way they stop the barrels doesn't make them explode.

This trap will most likely destroy the room to such a point where it becomes impossible to travel through it in a natural way, so the writer of this d&d idea recommends that the dm who uses this, should put some rope at the top of the room, & or in the next room. This is so the players can get up & down the room easily.

Broke and Flipped

Broke and Flipped - I completed my first two Void Stones and then bankrupted myself buying a Brass Dome and flipping Firetrap to my new Body Armor.

I had a rather busy day of significant progress and changes to my Righteous Fire Juggernaut. First off I took out The Searing Exarch and while I took a few deaths, I managed to get my void stone well within the six portals.
