in regards to your post about writers being pushy about their opinions to fans. john green once said that once a book is published that "They belong to their readers now, which is a great thing–because the books are more powerful in the hands of my readers than they could ever be in my hands". same goes for tv shows. we're allowed to interpret the show however we please. and like/dislike what we want. i think that some of the 100 writers could learn that imo.
I usually am not a fan of John Green because I find him a bit too pretentious for my taste BUT THANK YOU ANNA THANK YOU. This quote is so perfect to describe everything that I’ve been trying to say. Just because you produce content doesn’t mean you get to control how your fans consume and interpret it. I see this way too often with authors, especially in the YA genre, and I’m really disheartened to see it spreading into the realm of my favorite show.
