Man. Still seems weird not having a race on July 4th. Today feels kind of absent without a Firecracker 400 even if they haven't traditionally run it on July 4th since 1987.
When I take over NASCAR from Brian France
I will make it so the Coke Zero Firecracker 400 is run on the 4th of July, not the closest weekend. I don’t care if it’s not a Saturday. The most American sport should have a race in the most American day.
