I'm really curious but... If you're up to it, would you be willing to telling us how firefangs doing right now? Anything interesting happen now that's she's a older gal? Her possible opinions on the state of her clan? And a extra question ; How's reedpaw doing as a apprentice? (fhjewhbg sORRY for so many!!)

- firefang is doing all right, surprisingly! she’s got that old lady blues... the world is moving on without her, the clan’s camp is full of strangers, most of whom she didn’t even get to watch grow up since they’re outsiders. there’s entirely new cats in power and her denmate is from a different clan... things seem to move by very quickly and she can’t really keep up. but now she’s going to be a grandma so that’s something she can look forward to! she also loves telling the apprentices stories and making friends with boulderscar.

- reedpaw is doing well, in his training, at least. he listens to his mentor (surprisingly) and is growing and maturing, and is a surprisingly good hunter (though he still mostly exceeds in battle). he’s still kind of slow emotionally and tends to lash out a lot, but he’s opening up to more cats like petalpaw and beepaw and trying to deal with the ‘loss’ of his sister. he’s coping now by training intensely to make sure he can protect his family from being hurt further; he is a bully, he is mean, and he can be selfish, but everything he does is for his kin. hawkpaw turning her back on them and hurting them all like that? that really fucked him up. but he’s managing; it won’t drag him down. he will protect his family.

Firefangs top 5 cats?

Hazeltuft: daughter, independent and proud of her growth despite their differing opinions

Ashbreeze: mate, so sweet and pure and perfect and can do no wrong

Briarstar: good friend, watched her grow from a kit and proud of where she’s gone

Sunpaw: son!!!! little perfect man, so much energy, so much goodness and purity

Sorrelstem: sister, her rock and comfort and she would die without her

How is Firefang dealing with being an elder?

for now she’s sleeping in the warriors’ den since the elders’ den is occupied but it’s a little strange. she still sort of feels like deputy, but like.... old. she wants to go on patrols and hunt and stuff but she can’t really. it’s a strange transition, and not a traditional one, but she’ll learn to rest in time!

I don't know the post with the asks on it but : What was Firefangs favorite thing about being deputy? And who would Sparrowheart consider his friends (He's a good boy who deserves more!)

1) Firefang enjoyed having to get up early to organize patrols, believe it or not. When she was first assigned to be deputy, the Clan had just lost so many cats after being flooded out - including her son, ex-mate, and mentor. So having other cats rely on her to be better helped her heal more quickly. Though she did mix up a few cats sometimes.

2) Sparrowheart considers Aphid his closest friend at the moment! Doveheart and Poppycloud are close seconds, and Briarstar he knows at least tolerates him. The Morninggaze kits are like... nephews and niece to him so they don’t count. He wants to befriend Goosewing one day, but knows she kind of has a duty to follow her close friend Hazeltuft, and, well. As long as Hazeltuft is around, he won’t be getting very friendly with Goosewing.

firefang would you change anything thats happened in your life?

“In theory, there are so many things that I would like to change... Things I wish I had done, things I wish I hadn’t done; things I wish I didn’t or did say; cats I wish I could’ve saved or been there for...

“But in the end, everything that happens to us shapes us to who we are. We learn things from our experiences, whether we like it or not. 

“If I had changed anything at all... I might not be who I am today.”

How does fire feel about mornings kits?

She sees them as her own kits and loves them just the same. But she's cautious not to push too much because she knows they can think of her how they want, regardless of how she wishes to hold them close and groom them all day and tell them how wonderful they are. She's so, so proud of them and their growth even if sometimes it doesn't seem like it.

How is firefang handling sunkits adoration for his sister?

I mean on a certain level she thinks it's adorable, but because of how Hazeltuft is she thinks it's a bit dangerous. She doesn't want Sunkit to get her ideas, but she hopes that as he grows and is able to form his own opinions he will take the correct path in life. Whether or not he takes after her though Firefang knows he'll be a loyal warrior regardless!

So does firefang know of her daughter hatred of rogues?

Yeah. She understands where she's coming from, but she's not proud of that fact. Even Firefang doesn't like that the rogues are in the Clan, but she at least doesn't think they're terrible cats because of where they were born. She thought she raised Hazeltuft at least to be civil with those she dislikes but apparently not. Because of this (and some other things) she really feels like she failed to instill certain values as a mother.
