I know what you mean. I can't really be 100% myself with my highschool friends 'cause they're not in the anime/manga stuff. They know I like it and accept it but when I mention it they smile like "Here comes the nonsense.." It hurts sometimes ._.

*group hug* it really is a shame because idk no matter how trivial it may seem, like, it’s an important part of my life???  and i just wish people could accept that without acting like it’s some weird creepy anomaly especially when i basically try to never bring it up bc i know they’ll be annoyed //sighs

This happens to me as well but with Ace, friends of mine always asked why I had drawn him SO much, but never so rudely like that. Friends don't do that and I'm sorry that happened to you. /slithers away
