Firefly Gathering
I’m back from Firefly Gathering outside of Asheville NC. I honestly still do not have words to describe how I feel. I have never been around such an awesome group of people. I have met many people now that I would consider my extended family. Pictures to follow.
I’m home! After spending five days in Asheville, NC and teaching three days of back to back morning/afternoon sessions of hair on hide tanning at the Firefly Gathering, I finally made my way home back to West Virginia. Many pictures, stories, and more to come!

The stars have fallen to earth and hover amongst the treetops and down in the grasses flashing green, silver, orange and an unlikely red.
I have learned from these phosphorescent advents that my knowledge of the natural world could, at times, be labeled impecunious and I would stand (justly!) sans ripost.
In an effort to reinvigorate my peckish insights I have begun to immerse myself in natural lore.
I, however, am a slow study. Emma, luck has it, flourishes in productive contexts and so it was that she, and not I, left for and is currently attending The Firefly Gathering! http://www.fireflygathering.org/
