Summary:

This is how Luke and Reggie find themselves: Luke, crouching on top of the kitchen counter, clutching Tilly’s leash like a lifeline; Tilly, the friendly shepherd that she is, barking enthusiastically and trying her damndest to jump up and join Luke on the granite island; and Reggie, eyes wide, franticly reading over the single page of notes the Taylors had left, flipping it over and over and inspecting the blank back side as if searching for some secret message written in invisible ink.

In short: they absolutely do not have it handled. - or, Julie asks Luke and Reggie to help her dog-sit for Flynn’s family. Shenanigans ensue.

eyebrow actions (furrowing, raising, knitting)

people looking at one another significantly - on the flip side, undecipherable looks

i like to write every single little action or detail that characters are doing otherwise i get confused as to how they’re standing or what they’re doing!! this is my crux

another question i forgot in the last ask sorry what do u mean by "25th june onward" like how does that work /exactly/?

We don’t want people all posting on the same day, so that smaller creators also get a chance for people to read the fic & al, fics actually get read. Posting will span several days (depending on how many fics we end up with) and each team will randomly get assigned a date after June 25th on which they post their work.

hi, local disaster child, thank u for reminding me i still need to read chapter six of ur fic. i've been trying to avoid questions that might come with spoilers and here's all i could think of that wouldn't be a spoiler; what is your favorite line you've written, or the scene you're most proud of?

my favorite line i’ve written was probably go white boy go but the scene that i was really proud of was Alex waxing poetry about Willie in the third chapter, as we all do that about booboo stewart 😂

hey i have fuzzy worms for brains and i'm wondering what u mean by "summary"? like, are u looking for a pitch? a book description-type deal? a wikipedia-style thing where you basically sum up the whole plan?

There is going to be a lengthy explanation before submissions, but I haven’t written it. Think in the direction of book summaries like you’d in school. So not something like you’d put on ao3 eg, but your plot & ending in a couple sentences. Also, mentioning any triggers and similar things you story will contain. The summaries are meant to give artist & cheerleaders a very clear idea of what they’re signing up for.  I hope this gave you an idea of what we need, but like I said more concrete explanations will come soon.

okay, one more question semi on the last topic's question, what would we do in the situation of a multichapter fic?

🎸 - do you play/want to learn how to play any instruments?

What a question. So I play piano, violin, and flute. I'm sort of learning the banjolele (cross between banjo and uke), and I know a handful of guitar chords but :/ I suck at it still. I'm also a decent singer, comfortable alto, but I could use some training.

If I could learn more I would learn: harp, trombone, tenor sax, hurdy gurdy, cello, viola, bass, numerous types of flutes and recorders (lemme play the Mando theme, dammit!), hand pan, drums, and there's more but that's all off the top of my head for now.

So yeah 😂😂
