Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare: Akari-Rio analysis/theory (summary).

Guys, I wrote this really long post on why Akari and Rio are not real siblings. There were clues in the first chapter. But firefox crashed and I lost the whole text. I honestly want to cry. Why did tumblr get rid of its automatically-saves-posts feature? WAI.

But, yes, Akari and Rio are not siblings. Trust me. 

BEWARE OF SPOILERS

I’m just going to summarise what I wrote on the post.

Akari received a voicemail from her mother

A guy received a call from his father

That guy was Rio

It was a marriage announcement

Akari was shocked, she dropped her phone on the ground

Akari knew her mother and Rio’s father were seeing each other

Rio might or might not know about it

He’s not as shocked as Akari, but still surprised

It was raining, she had an umbrella so she wasn’t there for shelter

Akari was, therefore, waiting for someone

Rio was in the rain

He had an umbrella with him

Rio was going to meet Akari

Akari was going to confess but it turns out she couldn’t because their parents were going to get married to each other. Hence, the monologues about everyone being happy and she should bear the pain and smile like everything’s okay

We don’t know if Rio has feelings for Akari

Time passed, their parents marry, and they moved in together. The new apartment, obviously

Akari currently has a boyfriend

Akari probably tried to move on 

Rio is now her brother

Akari probably still has feelings for him

Now she and her new friend likes the same person

One thing’s for certain, more heartaches and tears are to come

This expression says it all. 

Prediction: Akari might move on and end up with Kazuomi or somehow, in some magical way, she ends up with Rio.

I’d like to know which route Sakisaka Io would take.

Route 1: Yuna’s fairytale coming true and Akari being her realistic self, moves on and finds true love - YunaxRio and AkarixKazuomi

OR

Route 2: Akari learning that she should be true to herself and chase after her true love and Yuna learning that fairytales don’t exist and finds true love, A.K.A the millions-of-heartaches-and-tears route - AkarixRio and YunaxKazuomi

Akari and Rio shippers, brace yourselves! We’d have to go down with this ship!

Oh, and Yuna,

You don’t know it yet but you are in for something more. All the four of you are heading into a tangled mess.
