fandom, you HAVE to listen to me, okay? MARCO IS NOT JEAN’S DOORMAT. please stop characterizing him that way. he’s not some weak-willed kid who blushes any time Jean looks his way. marco is a super strong and resilient character, and often was the only one who was ever able to reign jean in. marco is nice, but he isn’t just a blushing boy with a crush. he’s a hell of a lot more than that. 

edit: since that wasn’t good enough for you (you monster), i’ll add this unpopular opinion: most of the big name JM fics are….how you say….not great. okay, fine. unpopular opinion, about my own fic, Steady to the Catch: Daniel needed a better name. Honestly. I wrestled with his name for a while - and ultimately decided on Daniel, and I kinda wish I had gone for one of the other names I waffled between. Other names I considered: Desmond, David, Devon, and Damon.
