My Pern RP family knows me too well

Somehow unrelated, I made a firelizard that’s basically just a frilled lizard. We have anomalies/mutations and noncanon colors, tokens you can buy in the site store with points you get from posting. So I made a giant grey firelizard that is wingless and has a neck frill. She’s essentially this:

The dragon candidate who bought her egg is from a family with no riders and no contact with dragons, so she is very misinformed about dragons and firelizards. So, she is convinced she got scammed and this creature is literally just some kind of weird lizard. Someone sold her a lizard egg. If she sometimes feels weird things or gets strange flashes? It’s just being tired from candidacy.

She will be proven wrong when Blaize grows up and gets into the firestone for the first time.

No, she can’t fly without wings.

Yes, this is a fire hazard.

Yes, her person is going to find this out the hard way.

You know, I’m only seven books into this series, but I swear, if I finish it all and there isn’t some book that covers Jaxom and and rest of this quartet (plus F’lessan) getting up to shenanigans as adults, I’m gonna write it myself.
