I'm not sure how to title it, but little dragon is trying to make friends with my reversable emotions octopus plushie keychain, lol

This one is a little bit mixed media, poscas and colored pencils!

Tried out the lighter weight paper with colored pencils (and a little acrylic marker in the background), went with a quick dragon sketch, just to experiment. Not my favorite, but I like some things I did, like using the colored pencils over the acrylic marker was a nice effect ^.^

Now I want to make 3000 more art cards, like I don't have a ton of other projects on the backburner (the pocket cat cards, bookmarks, saddle-stitch sketchbooks made from the dragon greeting cards, probably more in not remembering rn lol) plus a book to finish repairing (actually 3... but this one I'm prioritizing rn)... lol

Decided to do one more for now to try out the canvas paper - I think it's definitely better suited to the acrylic markers in a lot of ways, but I'll probably still do some with the illustration paper too.

This one is based on a video of my cat playing with one of those fabric concealed motion wand toys that I got him ^.^

Decided to try making some ACEOs, first two with acrylic marker :)

the plant piece is on a thinner paper and I may decide to just use the thicker paper from now on and just use what I have cut of the thin stuff for sketching instead ^^

The art bug bit me randomly today so have some little acrylic marker experiments! 🐱🐈 uwu

Sat out in the driveway and tried out my new posca paint markers, I tried to focus first on value and use color for that purpose primarily, and also focused on the feeling of the hour (sun beginning to set)...started with the neighbor's white plastic fence with grey and pale yellow and light cyan, and went from there :)

Felt good, to sit outside, and to pay attention with purpose but relax into it, and to draw/paint again. Something for fun, but creative, additive. And I'm happy with how it turned out :)
