Dragonquest is crazy to read

Oh, so T'ton is now T'ron

And he hates F'lar

F'nor got stabbed!¡!¡!

And T'ron doesn't seem to care

Oh boy Mardra hates Lessa and I thought the two would be good friends after Dragonflight

F'lar and Lessa HAD A KID!¡!¡!

And their kid is friends with Jaxom

Wait F'nor found tiny dragons on the southern continent

And it looks like this girl, Brekke, likes him!😁

Kylara was a Lessa fangirl last book, now she wants to bang F'lar, which Pridith finds unsettling since Mnementh is her father.

Brekke has a foster daughter with three fire lizards

Telegraphs are now a thing

Thread is falling whenever it wants

Tiny grubs that the Master Herdsman hates are eating Thread

T'ron got in a fight with F'lar

Once again, F'lar changes the political situation of the planet

T'kul, T'ron, and their peeps go to Southern Weyr and T'bor, Kylara, and Brekke come to High Reaches

Now Kylara is having a thing with the Meron

A telescope was found at Benden

Lord Larad's wedding goes to heck

All the dragons time it to fight Thread together

F'lar just had to fight Thread after he got in a knife fight, so he gets a fever

Brekke and F'nor fell in love but that's problematic because Brekke is a gold rider and F'nor is a brown rider

Kylara was stupid and didn't get Pridith away from the Weyr so thanks to her Wirenth and Pridith are dead

A bunch of people have fire lizards now

People want the dragonmen to go to the Red Star and destroy the Thread at it's source

Brekke tries to re Impress, but her fire lizard stops her

But holy crap Jaxom cracked an egg open and Impressed a tiny one.

And Meron is trying to train his fire lizards to go to the Red Star

And F'nor and Canth go to the Red Star!

All the dragons and fire lizards go between from wherever they are and catch Canth in midair

Brekke performs mouth to mouth to save F'nor

But he'll be fine because F'lar said he would at the end

I kinda love little Jaxom in dragonquest. You can’t go wrong with the internal monologue of an anxious pessimistic twelve year old tbh

#leading up to the hatching he goes on for three pages about how he’s convinced somethings going to go horribly wrong today #he is in fact right but he ends up causing the problem #and him and felessan bickering in the tunnels and then all his fatalistic anxiety about seeing the eggs is honestly wildly entertaining #he’s probably the most relatable character in this book #dragonquest #dragonquest reread #jaxom #the white dragon #pern #dragonriders of pern

N’ton seems to spend a lot of time looking through telescopes and tromping around Southern with Piemur and making Jaxom feel better about himself and very little time, y’know, being Fort Weyrleader
