8. a dared kiss.

I dare... Kai to kiss the person on his right! That was Jay’s cue to freeze for a split second, his heart lurching up within his ribcage. He was on Kai’s right. Right? Right. He was. Just that kind of acknowledgement sped up his heart rate tenfold.

He had his fair share of kisses with Kai, yet why was this making him feel embarrassed? Maybe ‘cos it was happening in front of the others. It’s possibly why. Jay tries not to look so flushed and turned to face Kai who turned to face him. The Master of Fire surely had an effect on him; Jay already feels hot under the collar, and his cheeks are red with heat.

And then he leans in and presses their lips together. Every kiss is like a new experience with Kai; it’s hot with the distinct taste of spiciness that invades Jay’s taste buds, along with the skill that Kai provides when kissing.

His skill and experience really melts Jay into Jell-O and to make his knees weak. Jay kisses back with effort; lips moving against lips, his tongue casually but willingly licked at Kai’s bottom lip before eventually moving away to reveal his own face burning hot. His heart can’t stop racing. He licked at his lips subconsciously to savour the flavour then said: “...You had spicy doritos, haven’t ya? I can taste something spicy.”
