9.19.17 Lunchtime drawing: The Fire Patrol No.1 building on West 30th Street, a deep-soot gray, was built in 1874 for insurance company funded fire patrols (there’s an “F” and a “P” carved in stone on the facade) that helped save goods from smoke and water damage during blazes.
