Firestations - Many White Horses (Indie Folk)
🕑 2 min / Text: Adrian Release Date: 25.04.25 I think what I like most about Firestations' music is that their audience can expect an incredible range of sounds and styles, all rooted in fantastic lo-fi textures. The new album ‘Many White Horses’ features nine fabulous songs - some with a folky character that recalls classic indie productions of the 1970s, while others are marked by impressive atmospheric and subtly experimental textures. The beautiful melodies evoke a sense of nostalgia while also feeling dreamlike, at times even embodying something almost meditative. The warm and washed-out character of the vocals invites the listener to drift away and let their thoughts wander freely. Give 'Many White Horses' a listen and make sure to keep up with Firestations' new releases on Spotify - you can also grab a physical copy on Bandcamp! So pleased that Firestations was supporting The Reds Pinks and Purples so I got down early to make sure I caught them. A couple of new songs added into the set. Pics & VIds - Track- Travel Trouble

Firestations have been around for a while, but I didn't know too much about them. Always one of those bands where I dipped in and out thinking I need to get round to listening to them properly. The new album gave me an excuse to set aside some time.
They were superb live, not really sure how to describe them indie guitar, bit of guitar pop, hint of psychedelia, hint of folk and great harmonies. Their songs are real growers & the new single Stillness gives me goosebumps as it progresses.

Firestations have been around for a while but I didn't know too much about them. Their new album is superb. Here's a track taken from a previous album though. It kindof gives me a Stereolab vibe too.
I've also never seen a guitar played in that way.
