The fourth and final member of Fireteam Dusk, Daffodil!

Even before he was wormless, Daraak-Ir loathed the life the Hive had been forced into, but he couldn’t do anything about it because of his worm. Now, wormless and with a new name to reflect his new beginnings, he strives for a better future for the Hive, a future where they live in peace with humanity and no longer the slaves to the Worm-gods. Sadly his ideas fall on deaf ears, most hive, lucent or not, still act by the sword logic. He hopes that maybe if he himself can prove an alliance with humanity is the next best way of living for the Hive, more would listen to him. Sadly of all the guardian teams he could meet, it was Fireteam Dusk.

Ruen, the leader of their team, is curious to the potential of Hive wielding the light, which is why he has allowed Daffodil to live and join their squad. Sasha and Aran deeply disagree, their need for revenge against the Hive is very strong. Their team is very uneasy, not helped by Daffodils ghost, Poppy, wanting him to kill the guardians and their ghosts. Daffodil is fighting on two fronts on his quest for peace.

Aran-8, The living nightmare.

RECOVERED AUDIO FILE SOURCE: shattered ghost of a unnamed warlock. LOCATION: Lower levels of the Leviathan. PARTICIPANTS: Human warlock, Exo Titan, unknown third party. //AUDIO PARTIALLY RESTORED//

T:---e are going to far deep, this is getting to dangerous.

W: You’re a titan, i thought your skin was tougher.

T: Have you not heard?

W: Heard what?

T: There’s something down here, something like a nightmare.

W: Well yes, the leviathan is making nightma-

T:  Nonono, something LIKE a nightmare, it’s been taking out Scorn, Cabal and Guardians alike. There was this one Guardian who survived the encounter and came back to the tower screaming about their experience. They said it showed them their nightmares face to face and cut down their fireteam in front of them.

W: Poor bastard.

T: Yeah THAT’S why i’m wary about being down h-

<Sound of loud clanging of metal can be heard>

T: What was that?!

W: It sounded like it was abov- AH

<the sound of gunfire, light abilities, screaming and thrashing metal can be heard>

<The sound of the two guardians screaming and begging for mercy can be heard, followed by the sound of a distorted laugh and then silence>
