if it's in terms of immortality where you can't die no matter what, he'll let down his guard just a bit because there's nothing that can really slay you, but make no mistake. he's as protective as he usually is, only because he can't fathom to see you hurt no matter what. even when you tell him that there's no need, he'll always jump between you wand whatever threat he can find.

if it's pseudo-immortality where you live long but can still die from illness, injuries, etc. then he'll act how he normally does, but he's just a bit happier with the prospect of being with you forever. immortality takes a large burden on the soul, so expect him to do all he can to alleviate any such pains that come with it to the best of his abilities.
