Halitrephes maasi is a species of deep sea jellyfish that belongs to the family Halicreatidae. It is also known as the firework jellyfish because of its colorful and dazzling appearance. It can be found in various oceans around the world, but it is most recently observed near Mexico.

For TXRX, I am planning to make a lamp based on this Firework jellyfish. The structure will be based on the anatomy of the Jellyfish with an LED Color Changing Light bulb in order to catch the varying colors of a live Jellyfish. This is still a work in progress and will be uploading pictures later on
