On the word document, it says her profile was created April 30, 2012 and the last time it was modified was May 1, 2012. Just over a year I made her.
Let’s start with Firrea’s name. Her first name doesn’t actually mean anything. I did find out it was an acronym for some government thing, though. But I don’t even remember how I came up with it. I may have been jumbling letters together or it may have even come to me in a dream, but I honestly don’t remember. I just thought it was pretty and I liked it. And it looked like fire, which suited her personality. And it’s also pronounced FEAR-ee-ah. Not fi-RAY-ah or fi-REE-ah or any other variation of that. FEAR-ee-ah. Firrea. Fear her. //shot
Firrea of Redmoor was created for an RP thread of a website before it shut down in December. She was the heir of a country famed for it’s beaches, and she had the gift to see the connecting threads that bound soulmates together. However, she could not see her own. I did choose that power for her—it came with the character slot. Her childhood friend was the Heir of Dorgate whose name I fail to remember, and he was raised as a girl for some reason and Firrea had no clue. Also, he was her soulmate, but she had no idea about that either. There was kind of a discrepancy there, because if she couldn’t see her own thread and everyone else’s, then she surely should have known that her childhood friend’s thread connected to her. I don’t know. The RP died before I had a chance to bring it up.
Firrea was also extremely resentful of the Heir of Dorgate’s guard, who made it difficult for her to visit her friend. That didn’t stop her from trying to sneak to see him. She was much broodier and quick-tempered, defensive when asked to see soulmate threads because she believed they were selfish to want a quick answer and speed up the strings of fate.
Now Firrea is still pretty outspoken and a bit of a rebel, but she’s relaxed some since. She’s more easy-going when talking to new people instead of assuming they’re suspicious. She can be loud and a little snarky, but she has good intentions at heart. Instead of an heiress, she is from a long line of wizards, and is extremely devoted to volunteering for organizations and striking for causes she deems are worthy of attention. She’s also a painter in her sparetime, and has a special fondness for animals and children.
Originally, Firrea actually had freckles (I love freckles don’t sue me) and long reddish-coppery hair, brown eyes, and lightly tanned skin from being outside on the beach. She was also known for wearing loose flowy tunics of bright colors, because she hated the formal Victorian-esque dresses she had to wear for special events.
Now that she’s set in a much more modern time she dresses like most young women in their 20’s. She isn’t against shopping at thrift stores, but she has an eye for not choosing the tacky looking grandma wear and instead picking clothing that looks more acceptable in society. Some of her shirts and pants are paint splattered from when she decides to be artistically creative, and she has a multitude of t-shirts from organizations she’s volunteered from. She also has a thing for flower crowns, so I guess she can be considered somewhat of a hipster.
Her hair is no longer red, but will end up leaning towards a brown/auburn color. I don’t know if her eye color will change or not, and her hair has been chopped off nice and short into a wavy-looking bob. I wouldn’t be surprised if she even cut her own hair in a moment of rebelliousness.
So she has been revamped some. I’m glad I could use her again, because a couple of posts before an RP dying is not enough to develop her character. I think she has a lot of potential, and I can’t wait to see what shenanigans she’s going to get into as a wizard.
And you can be sure that a lot of what I’ve written here is going into her written app, because this is the most thought I’ve put into her revamp. Eheheheh~ c;
