2,000 posts!
Recently, January 9, 2021, I reached the two thousand posts milestone. Of course, I knew this was coming which is why I decided to use all day on the 9th to look back at my history here at Tumblr. Still I was surprised at the speed at which I attained this goal. I went from 1000 to 2000 posts in less than 2 months!
Let me briefly summarize my off again and on again sojourn here, which in the beginning was, needless to say, very tortoise like.
In November 2013 I started with a minimalist blog of just three posts. However, I didn’t post again till November & December of 2014 when I posted an additional 8 times. After that my blog would go into another 3 1/2 year hiatus. In August of 2019 I finally reached the 100 post milestone... This last November (2020) I reached the 1000 post milestone... now 2000. It took 7 years to reach 1000 posts but only 2 months to reach the 2000 post milestone. It looks like my tortoise has acquired a set of wheels with afterburners!

Back on November 18, 2020 I finally reached this “milestone.” That’s after seven years on Tumblr starting out as a minimalist blog with a grand total of three posts back in November of 2013.
