Ok for Friday’s ask- Date gone wrong, like terribly wrong + cute, great to talk to stranger + Ari/Bucky/Hayden (I know, I know he is kind of a big ass in A Permanent Claim, but he is adorable)
have a great rest of the day
and much love to you
You’re the only one so far to comment on Hayden/know who I meant! I love that!
I decided to change it from stranger to roommates, hope that’s okay
Your key, like it had for the last four months, had gotten stuck again when you tried to unlock the door. Like you had been warned, you shook the handle twice and rattled the key before you could open the door. By the time you slipped into the apartment and kicked off your heels, you feet felt swollen and sore. Your hand flew out to brace yourself against the wall as you hissed and rubbed your free hand over your feet.
A first date, one of few first dates you’d had in your life, was more than atrocious. It was one of the worst dates you’d had in your life and you had never felt like you’d been put through the ringer more.
“You cocksucking-“ a harsh whisper and a chuckle, the sound of bright and melodic music coming from the living room had reached you at the front entrance.
“I’m home!” You called out to your three male roommates, kicking your heels against the wall before you started down the hall to the living room.
“I’m kicking his ass.” Ari spoke over his shoulder, directing your attention to the two racers on screen, Mario and Princess Peach, and the red shell that came for the former again.
“Ari you son of a-!” Bucky cursed and shoved his hand into Ari’s shoulder, looking back at you quickly. “You’re back early.”
“Date was shit,” Hayden surmised, striding from the kitchen with a glass of wine and a box of takeout for you, “otherwise you wouldn’t have been back so soon.”
“You have no idea,” you hummed as Hayden leaned in and kissed your temple, his hand brushing against the small of your back, “my feet are killing me. And the dress stopped being comfortable an hour ago.”
“Go change, we’ll watch a movie.” Hayden shot a look toward Ari and Bucky, the two of them turning off the game and setting the remotes in the bin.
“The guy spent more time talking about himself,” you shivered against Hayden’s fingertips as he helped unzip your dress—a task he took without you having to ask. “And he wore so much cologne I thought I was going to choke.”
“You can do better.” Hayden mumbled into your hair, grabbing the takeout from you again until you could go change.
You pulled away and moved to your bedroom, quickly discarding the dress in favour for a pair of loose fitting joggers and an oversized shirt you stole from Ari. You shuffled back out of your bedroom to the living room, joining Hayden, Bucky and Ari.
You were tucked between the two brunette’s, your legs stretched across Ari and Hayden’s lap. You rest your head against Bucky’s shoulder and sighed, sinking further into the couch. Your takeout food Hayden got to you had been given back to you to enjoy while the movie started playing.
“I don’t assholes anyway,” you spoke after a minute of silence, “I just need you boys.”
“That’s right, honeybun.” Ari kissed into your hair. “You’re our girl.”
